In an opposite situation, someone could be a consultant, even without showing this at their badge. His work, in principle, is to influence those who work beside him; he was hired to do exactly this: to influence people upon request.
Over time, the hirer and the hired will forget what led to that hiring and the characteristics of the function will be away from the original motivations.

Open the newspaper and see
In the classified we see some ads looking for consultants.
Many of them reflect a typical feeling: if you call someone consultant, for itself, this is the case.
Someone is sadly mistaken. To give balance, the differentiated and lush titration just wants to praise the drudgery that comes ahead, according to which no one wants definitely to be influenced - or it would be the last thing to be desired.
What is expected in such cases is that routines are carried forward, doesn't matter whether by temporary staff, under the name of consultants.
Because it is unattractive, a more common name would make such recruitment hard - although, in this case, the income could be even better.

About allowing or not to be influenced
Situations of changing are typical and revealing: we want them and, at the same time, we fear them.
A slight fear is enough: then we seek some kind of advice.
It is clear that unsolicited – and not desirable – influences are out.
Usually they come from those who have a pre-established competence and power to influence: the boss orders, the teacher tells us what and how to do and the judge gives the sentence. In so doing, they are far from consultants, although in many other situations, in their goings-on, they are essentially consultants.
Vendors are all the time, giving advice; but they usually pass the limit (fact appellant in such profession) and want to push what we do not want.

Consulting: the game everybody loves to play
In a very large sense, we are all consultants, according to the situation.When you give someone a hint about how to improve navigation on the Internet, you're giving advice, that is, consulting, even if it happened at the table of a happy hour and you have not taken a penny for it.It isn’t, of course, a professional consulting, and neither are many others that you use, from asking how to stop the bugs that appeared in the vase of violets, to know more about a car model.The interesting thing is when someone says: "Currently, I'm giving advice," which means that he (she) is not giving, but selling advice. You know, it's just a way of talking and you easily understand what is being said, although some think that may mean something else: "I'm unemployed."
That’s a kind of wickedness! The fact is that when we want to be influenced and ask someone for this, we are requesting an advisory to friends and acquaintances (informally) or to some professional advice (formal and paying for it).
Therefore, the consultant is someone who lives to influence other people, at their request so that it occurs.

It's a blog saying that each one can take in hand his own development.
In the roles we play nowadays there are entrenched feelings we carry from an early age. When resurrected, some of them tend to hinder us, simply because they appear out of context.
Who does not remember the children's views to get recognition? Views on their bike: "Look, Mom, no hands." As this did not seem to suffice: "Now, without feet." The joke adds the supreme effort to draw attention - after you hear a thud, "Look, Mom, no teeth."
Now adults, we still seek the same smile of approval, but the time and the place are wrong.

I pondered a bit and found it a little bit pretentious.I saw that it would worsen if I add: "... not just any experience, not an experience a plus, but an extraordinary experience. "So I abandoned that line (but there is the record of such temptation).
